There are a lot of bands and most of them cater to various song categories. There will be the usual rock bands, metal and slow rock. To many people they are all and the same. Actually you can pretty much tell that their type of music will be their calling card since it is sure to be the thing that crowds will be looking at the most.
There are bands who opt to serve more than one genre which is perfectly fine. However, when it comes to being good, you know it can only be in some songs and not all.
